Park National Bank, which formed in January 2006 when five Illinois banks (including Pullman Bank) merged, underwent an extensive tenant improvement project that posed a challenge beyond plans and concrete.
The client needed the bank to remain open through the major renovation. Riis Borg was able to create and execute a phasing plan that did not disrupt the normal banking business.
Project description:
• Major two-phase renovation of the facility as well as improvements to existing features including a new teller line, lobby extension, new check writing stands, and an ATM extension
Project highlights:
• Phase I: Demolition and gutting, work on vaulted ceiling, renovation of the teller lines, and floor refinishing
• Phase II: Completion of remaining first-floor finishes, renovation of the entire second floor, and installation of new mechanical systems
• Scaffold was erected throughout the entire atrium for work to be completed while business remained open

• General contracting
• Estimating
